Do You Focus On Weight Loss Or Health More?........

OK MY THOUGHTS ON THIS ARE, MOST OF US HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WAY TOO FOCUSED ON OUR WEIGHT OPPOSE TO OUR HEALTH.  YA'LL KNOW I'M RIGHT, I'M ONE OF YOU, LOL!  THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS THAT YOU CAN'T GET ON A SCALE AND 100% KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON.  HELLO!  FOR INSTANCE WHEN I START USING MORE WEIGHTS WHEN WORKING OUT WHAT DO YOU THINK THE SCALES DO, YEP, GO UP.  OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT.  SO WHEN I HAVE A PATIENT WHO ODDLY ENOUGH LOOSES 40LBS OVERNIGHT THAT IS A RED FLAG TO ME THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY PROBABLY LOOSING 80% LEAN BODY MASS AND 20% UNHEALTHY FAT.  RAPID WEIGHT LOSS IN SUCH A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME IS NOT HEALTHY AND YOU'RE BASICALLY SETTING YOURSELF UP TO PUT BACK NOT ONLY THE WEIGHT YOU JUST LOST BUT DOUBLE SOMETIMES TRIPLE THE WEIGHT BACK ON. 

MY BELIEF IS IF WE WOULD TURN OUR FOCUS MORE ON OUR HEALTH FIRST, THEN GUYS, OUR UNHEALTHY FAT WILL FOR SURE COME OFF!

DEPENDING ON WHAT YOUR DIET CONSIST OF ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WILL CRAVE, HOW MUCH YOU'LL BE HUNGRY DURING THE DAY AND HOW YOU WILL FEEL! 

PUT YOUR IMAGINATION TO WORK AND THINK ABOUT THIS BIBLICALLY FOR A MOMENT........WHAT DO YOU THINK GOD INTENDED FOR US TO EAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?............I'LL JUST LET YOU GUYS PONDER OVER THAT ONE.  HOWEVER, I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW IT WASN'T ANYTHING PROCESSED, FROM CANS, PRESERVATIVES, SOFT DRINKS, SUGAR, SUGAR, SUGAR AND SUGAR. HAHAHA!  HEY AND THIS IS COMING FROM A GIRL WHO FORMED AN ADDICTION TO SWEETS IN HER 30'S HAHAHA!  I TITLED MY BLOG REALISTIC CARRIE FOR A REASON AND THAT'S BECAUSE I'M NOT A FANATIC WHEN IT COMES TO WHAT FOODS I EAT I'M SIMPLY MUCH MORE AWARE OF WHAT MY BODY NEEDS FOR OPTIMAL HEALTH THAT IT HELPS ME STAY CONSCIOUS OF WHAT I'M EATING.  LOOK MY BIRTHDAY IS NEXT MONTH, DON'T THINK I'M NOT GOING TO HAVE SOME CAKE FROM MY ALL TIME FAVORITE, EDIBLE ART IN CHARLOTTE!  AND DON'T THINK I'M NOT GOING TO HAVE MY CHEAT DAYS OF THINGS THAT ARE SO NOT GOOD FOR ME BUT HOLLA THEY'RE SO GOOD TO ME!!!!  I CAN TELL YOU THE ONLY THINGS I WILL EVER, EVER DRINK DURING THE DAY IS OF COURSE MY KANGEN WATER, MY ONE TO TWO CUPS OF COFFEE IN THE MORNING AND ON OCCASION MY GUILTY PLEASURE IS RED WINE.  THANK GOD FOR ANTIOXIDANTS! LOL! 

OUR BODIES WAKE UP DEHYDRATED SO THE FIRST THING I DO WHEN I GET OUT OF BED IS HYDRATE MY BODY WITH 32OZ OF KANGEN WATER, THEN I'LL HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE.  USUALLY I GO WORKOUT AT THAT POINT, SO AS I'M LEAVING THE GYM I DRINK 32 MORE OZ ON THE WAY HOME.  THIS IS WHEN I WOULD HAVE A SECOND CUP OF COFFEE WHILE I'M DOING MY BLOG OR DEVOTION.  WELL WE ALL KNOW THAT FOR EVERY CUP OF COFFEE WE AT LEAST NEED TWO TO THREE CUPS OF WATER TO MAKE UP FOR THE DEHYDRATION COFFEE CREATES, SO I CONTINUE ON FOR THE REST OF THE DAY CONSTANTLY DRINKING MY KANGEN WATER AND BEFORE I KNOW IT I'VE DRANK A GALLON OR GALLON AND A HALF.  I CALL IT MY MIRACLE WATER NOW BECAUSE I'VE NOTICED A HUGE DIFFERENCE SINCE I'VE BEEN DRINKING IT.  GUYS THE GOAL FOR ANY OF US SHOULD BE TO TRY OUR BEST TO MAKE OUR BODIES AS ALKALINE AS POSSIBLE BUT IN THIS SOCIETY THAT IS HARD TO DO.  REMEMBER DISEASES AND CANCER CAN NOT LIVE IN AN ALKALINE ENVIRONMENT.  SO EVEN THOUGH MY DIET CONSIST OF ACIDIC FOODS BY DRINKING 9.5 KANGEN WATER MY GOAL IS TO TRY AND BALANCE OUT THE ACIDIC VS. ALKALINE.  MY BELIEF IS TO TRULY HAVE AN OPINION YOU MUST BE PRO-ACTIVE IN WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO HAVE AN OPINION ABOUT! 

OK SO BACK TO THE BASICS, OUR HEALTH.  THINK ABOUT IT LOW NUTRIENT EATING FUELS ADDICTIVE BAD EATING HABITS.  I HEARD A PHYSICIAN SAY IN MEDICAL SCHOOL THEY LEARNED IN MEDICAL TERMS THAT THE WORD ADDICT MEANS TO TAKE SOMETHING IN THAT'S GOING TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER.  WELL DUH MAKES SINCE RIGHT?  LET'S PUT SOME FOCUS ON MICRO NUTRIENTS, WHICH ARE NUTRIENTS REQUIRED BY HUMANS IN SMALL AMOUNTS TO ORCHESTRATE A WHOLE RANGE OF PHYSIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS, IN WHICH WE CAN NOT PRODUCE ALL ON OUR OWN.  LACK OF MICRO NUTRIENTS CAN CAUSE SICKNESS, DISEASES, ETC... UMMM I'M STILL LEARNING BUT DANG THIS MAKES SINCE THAT WE CAN HAVE INCREDIBLE HEALTH THROUGH OUR DIET AND THINGS LIKE PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO MEANINGS OF WORDS LIKE, MICRO NUTRIENTS.  SIMPLY ADD MORE, RAW, VEGGIES, FRUITS, WHOLE GRAINS AND HEALTHY FATS.  OK THIS IS SO TYPICAL OF A PERSON WHO IS OVERWEIGHT BUT EATS SALADS ALL DAY EVERY DAY;  THEY'LL CONSUME 330 CALORIES JUST FROM THEIR SALAD DRESSING OPPOSE TO THE 30 CALORIES THEIR WHOLE SALAD IS.  HOW BACKWARDS IS THAT! 
HEARD A TRUE STORY ABOUT A GUY NAMED SCOTT, HE WAS 500LBS AND HE LOST 325 TO 330LBS BECAUSE HE STOPPED FOCUSING ON DIETS AND LOOSING WEIGHT AND STARTED FOCUSING ON HIS HEALTH.  AWESOME, RIGHT, WELL THAT JUST PROVES IT'S POSSIBLE AND FULL PROOF UNLIKE DIETS. 

DID YOU KNOW SOMETIMES WE MIGHT THINK WE'RE HUNGRY BUT ACTUALLY WE'RE NOT AT ALL.  IF WE'RE TRYING TO ALWAYS EAT PORTION CONTROL ALONE, WHICH BY THE WAY I DO FAVOR, HOWEVER, WHEN WE DO THIS SOMETIMES WE'RE NOT GETTING ADEQUATE FIBER AND MICRO NUTRIENTS WHICH THEN TURNS INTO HUNGER SENSATIONS AND CRAVINGS.  TRUE HUNGER COMES FROM THE MOUTH AND THROAT.  MOST OF US DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TRUE HUNGER FEELS LIKE BECAUSE WE'RE SIMPLY EATING WHEN WE THINK WE'RE HUNGRY. 

OK SO I'LL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS, DON'T LIVE YOUR LIFE STARVING YOURSELF TRYING TO LOOSE WEIGHT OR LETTING GO OF EVERYTHING YOU LOVE JUST BECAUSE "IT'S BAD FOR YOU", LIFE IS SHORT, ENJOY IT BUT BE RESPONSIBLE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR HEALTH!!  ONCE YOU MAKE THIS DECISION TO JUMP ON THE BAND WAGON AND EAT MORE NUTRIENT RICH DISEASE FIGHTING FOODS, YOU COULD POTENTIALLY GO THROUGH A BIT OF DETOXING, BUT WHEN IT'S ALL DONE AND SAID YOU WILL NOT ONLY FEEL BETTER BUT YOU WILL BEGIN TO TASTE BETTER!  AND ONCE YOU MOVE TO THIS KIND OF LIFESTYLE YOU'LL REALIZE YOU CAN EAT MORE NOT LESS!!

GETTING ON THE RIGHT SUPPLEMENTS IS A MUST TOO!  I'VE NEGLECTED THEM FOR AWHILE AND BOY CAN I TELL.  THANKS TO BILLY AT PRESCRIPTIONS PLUS I'M BACK IN THE GAME!  I STARTED MY CORE HEALTH PACK THIS PAST FRIDAY AND YESTERDAY RUNNING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN I COULD ALREADY FEEL THE DIFFERNCE FROM THE WEEK BEFORE.  MY CARDIO HAS BEEN SUFFERING LATELY AND I REALLY THINK IT'S BECAUSE I'M NOT GETTING ENOUGH OXYGEN SO I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW I FEEL AFTER BEING ON MY CORE HEALTH PACK FOR THE NEXT MONTH!  IT'S GOT VITAMINS, MINERALS, ANTIOXIDANTS, PROBIOTICS, PREBIOTICS, ENZYMES AND HERBS ALL MADE FROM WHOLE FOODS.  AGAIN I CAN'T ENCOURAGE YOU GUYS ENOUGH TO GO TALK TO BILLY YOURSELF.  I'D LIKE TO PERSONALLY THANK ALL THE PHYSICIANS IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO ARE ON BOARD WITH WHAT BILLY IS DOING AND TEACHING.  IT'S SO REFRESHING TO FINALLY SEE PHYSICIANS SEND THEIR PATIENTS TO GET ON TOP OF THE LINE SUPPLEMENTS OPPOSE TO MEDS.  MY HATS OFF TO YOU GUYS WHO INCORPORATE MEDICINE WITH SUPPLEMENTS!  IT DOESN'T HAVE TO SAY FDA ON THE LABEL TO BE FULL PROOF!!!!  OF COURSE THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN SUPPLEMENTS, WHERE'S THE MONEY FOR THEM?  LOL!!  OK THAT'S A WHOLE DIFFERENT SUBJECT FOR A WHOLE DIFFERENT DAY!
