Psalm 5:3 - Lord, every morning you hear my voice. Every morning, I tell you what I need, and I wait for your answer.
Just as it's our responsibility to give our bodies proper nutrition with everything we eat and drink, it's also our responsibility to feed our spirit.
*Grow Strong in the light of my Presence. As My Face shines upon you, you receive nutrients that enhance your growth in grace. (1)
Thought For The Day......
We should get up every morning and ask ourselves what can I do today that will benefit our spirit and our health. The most common thing I hear at my job is, "I've got to loose weight, I've got to get rid of this fat". To me that has a negative vibe to it. I encourage my patients to speak on more of a positive note asking the question, "What can I do today that's going to build my lean body mass?". The fact is the more muscle we have the more our bodies will deplete of that unhealthy fat on it's own. Also it's actually our body fat % that matters more than what the scale says. At the age of 37 females begin to loose 1% of LBM per year. This is why it's crucial to always be active whether you're young or old. Diet alone will never work for optimal health as well as exercise alone. We must combine the two to be able to reach our goals in not only weight loss but to push our health to it's full potential.
The best plan is to have accountability and support. Obviously for us girls a buddy system will really help push us!
